"Peek-A-Bear" is a mechanical paper model from Keisuke Saka's book Karakuri. The model is cut from a template in the book and hand assembled. This specific one has a rotating crank on the side that puts the bear into a repetitive "peek-a-boo" motion using a crank and several sliding links. In my analysis of the mechanism, I split the model into three separate four bar linkages in order to obtain the positions of several points on the model with respect to the input.
