Overview

As part of the school's required migration to the Austin Active Directory, Computer Services will work with you to migrate your computer user account from your McCombs account to your UT EID. If you do not currently log into your computer with your McCombs account, you will not be impacted by this change and have no action to take.

Computer Services will notify you when your computer is ready to migrate to UT EID login. There is no action to take until you've been notified that your computer is ready to migrate.

• Staff - Migrations will be scheduled by department and work group. For questions about scheduling your department, email austinmigrationproject@mccombs.utexas.edu.
• Faculty - Migrations will be scheduled individually and we'll generally be moving through the college by department. For questions about scheduling, email austinmigrationproject@mccombs.utexas.edu.

When

We expect to begin migrating Staff computers to EID Login in early August. Faculty migrations are scheduled to begin later in August. The migration process will slow at the start of the fall semester and continue through mid-October.
