UT uses Office 365 Email as its primary email. This also includes personal and shared calendars. All faculty, staff, and students are automatically provisioned with an Office 365 mailbox. A UT branded version of Gmail, called UTmail, is also optionally available. Inaddition, UT Lists can be used to manage email distribution lists where Office 365 or UTmail will not suffice. Other email options exist for faculty and staff who need to manage official communication or who need specialized types of calendaring features. Please visit the Employees tab to review these.
- Office 365 Email - An a computer, Outlook is the application typically used to check Office 365 email. Some Mac users use Mac Mail instead. You can also check mail online at https://office365.utexas.edu. McCombs employees automatically receive an Office 365 mailbox when they are hired with an emal address in the form of firstname.lastname@mccombs.utexas.edu. Students automaticlaly receive an email address in the form of eid@my.utexas.edu.
- UTmail - UT Mail is an option Gmail based mailbox that faculty, staff, and students cans elf claim at https://utmail.utexas.edu
- UT Lists - UT lists is an email list service open to all faclty, staff, and studnets. You can search for lists and join them or else create your own list at https://lists.utexas.edu.
