Instead of immediately printing to the WIN Staff Ricoh MP C2550 or WIN Faculty Ricoh MP 4001 printers, you have the option to Hold or Lock your print jobs. When you Hold a print job, it will not print until you retrieve it from the copier. When you Lock a print job, it does the same thing, except you can choose a numeric code to input to retrieve the job.

Like in the printer instructions, you can save these settings as a Preset.

Skip to Lock Print Job instructions.

To Hold a Print Job:

1. Select either WIN Staff Ricoh MP C2550 or WIN Faculty Ricoh MP 4001.

2. From the pull down menu, select Job Log.

3. From Job Type, select Hold Print.

4. Under User ID, type in something you will remember when you retrieve the job. Make sure your numerical User Code is also included. If you are printing multiple documents, you may want to include something in File Name to remember which document is which.

5. Click Print.

6. From the Ricoh copier, click the Printer button on the left.

7. On the screen, select Print Jobs.

8. Select your print job and hit Print.

To Lock a Print Job:

1. From Job Log, Select Locked Print.

2. Input a User ID name and numerical Password.

3. Click Print.

4. Select your document from the Print Jobs screen.

5. The Ricoh will prompt you to enter a password. Enter the password you specified in Step 2.
