Overview

The UTBackup Server includes a hierarchy of roles, ranging from user to admin, each giving the user access to a different set of capabilities and features.

The UTBackup management console displays only those features that the user is authorized to use. For example, someone assigned the CPP_USER role can see only the My Profile and My Computers pages and change his own password; while someone assigned the ADMIN roles can view/edit the Organizations, Users, and Support pages, in addition to the My Profile and My Computers pages.
