CLAIM

CLAIM is LAITS' inventory tool that contains helpful information for cross-referencing such as serial numbers, primary users and building information (if kept updated) 

Using CLAIM

Looking for information:

1. Above is the CLAIM interface where when typing in a tag number, the corresponding information
   
   
2.  By looking up any of these categories (tag, serial, primary user, etc) you can find all of the relevant item information
    CLAIM is not limited to computers but any and all equipment on campus that either requires a tag number or a means of being kept track of 

Creating/Editing an entry: 

1.  To create an entry, click the "Add New Item" button in the right-hand corner and fill out all of the information provided with the piece of equipment. 
   * You will not usually need to fill out anything in the bottom section, therefore I have only included the prompts most commonly used when creating a CLAIM entry
