COE New Student Welcome Event:

On behalf of the faculty and staff of The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy, welcome to The University of Texas at Austin! We are pleased you have selected The University of Texas for your academic pursuits and look forward to helping you meet your educational goals and career aspirations.

Please be sure to review the Educational Leadership and Policy handbook, which contains valuable information that you will need over the course of the program, including detailed information on your rights and responsibilities as a student. The honor code, academic policies and other student responsibilities and expectations are addressed, and you are strongly encouraged to read and become familiar with the contents of this handbook. You will be held accountable for adhering to the policies and procedures outlined, so please read it carefully and let the program staff know if you have any questions or concerns. Again, welcome to The University of Texas at Austin. We look forward to working with you over the course of the program.

NOTE: Many of the policies and procedures described in this document follow the more general guidelines established in the current Graduate Catalog (http://registrar.utexas.edu/catalogs/graduate), as well as those outlined in the General Information Bulletin (http://registrar.utexas.edu/catalogs/general-information). The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy is a part of the Graduate School at The University of Texas at Austin and is thus subject to the policies established by the Graduate Assembly.
