G.6 Teaching | (c) Summary of Average Ratings from Course Instructor and Course Evaluation Surveys

Numerical results from the Course Instructor and Course Evaluation surveys must be presented as two separate reports in this section:

Report of Average Instructor and Course Ratings
Summary of Recent Course-Instructor and Course Evaluation Surveys

The Faculty Affairs team in the Provost’s Office will provide these two reports to the college/schools for inclusion in the promotion dossier before July 31, 2024.

Reports for candidates who taught during the Summer 2024 term will be updated in September 2024.

Full Course Instructor and Course Evaluation Survey results, including both numerical summaries and student comments, for the time periods listed below, must be included in the dossier [Section G.12(b)] for all courses (including those offered in summer terms, and as Option II or Option III courses):

Candidate	Time Period for Survey Results
Tenure-track faculty	Entire probationary period at UT Austin
Tenured faculty	Time in rank at UT Austin or six years, whichever is smaller

Course evaluation survey results and associated student comments from Fall 2024 courses taught by the candidate may be added to the dossier and reviewed by the president’s committee.

The candidate has the option of adding a statement to the dossier (Section G.11) in response to these course evaluations in early January 2025 when the results are available.
