Connect to Meridian Terminal Server
Multiple methods of connection are listed below, depending on your preferred method, client, and operating system.
Remote Desktop Connection (PC)
- Connect to VPN
- Once connected to VPN, open Remote Desktop Connection
- Use trx-meridiants.austin.utexas.edu:59999 as the computer name and click connect. ***59999 is the port number****
- Login with your EID and password.
- Once connected, launch the BC Meridian PowerUser on the desktop.
- You will receive an error like the one below.
Click OK. - The Open Vault window will display.
Click Browse.
In the box labelled "Enter the object name to select," type one of the following:
trx-meridian1 to reach the CPFM Vault
trx-meridian2 to reach the FAS Vault - Select the appropriate Vault

Microsoft Remote Desktop (Mac)
- Connect to VPN
- Once connected to VPN, open Microsoft Remote Desktop
- Add a PC
- Login with your EID and password.
- Once connected, launch the BC Meridian PowerUser on the desktop.
- You will receive an error like the one below.
Click OK. - The Open Vault window will display.
Click Browse.
In the box labelled "Enter the object name to select," type one of the following:
trx-meridian1 to reach the CPFM Vault
trx-meridian2 to reach the FAS Vault
