Discussion Notes
Suggestions that came from the group.
- Read books that help support your mental, emotional and sexual health for yourself and your partner. Example given: Come as you are by Emily Nagoski https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22609341-come-as-you-are
- Having a chocolate chip cookie all to yourself at night after your kids have gone to bed. Recipe:
Cookie in a Cup
Melt 1 tbsp butter in your favorite mug/cup
Stir in 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp white sugar (you could reduce this if you wanted to and it would still be yummy), a couple drops of vanilla and a pinch of salt.
Mix in 1 egg yolk
Stir in ¼ cup all purpose flour
Stir in as many chocolate chips as you want! Or other ingredients as desired. I’ve done oatmeal, dried cranberries, nuts, etc.
Microwave for 40 seconds, add 10 seconds more as needed
It looks slightly undercooked when it comes out the microwave but it will continue to cook to perfection!
Enjoy!
