Readmission

If a student has left any ELP program in good standing and wishes to return, they must complete the following steps by the stated deadline:

To apply for readmission to any ELP program, you must be approved by the Graduate Studies Committee (GSC). Please submit the following documents to the Graduate Coordinator (ELPGradCoordinator@austin.utexas.edu):

1. Resume/CV

2. Letter of Intent, which should explain:

   • Why you wish to return to the program

   • A timeline of your academic progress

   • Your plan to complete the degree

Deadlines

• Fall admission: August 1

• Spring admission: December 1

• Summer admission (Exec Ed.D., TPLA, and CSP only): May 1

Eligibility

• Students must be meeting satisfactory academic progress requirements.

• Students must also meet all program-specific requirements and expectations.

• This policy applies to students who have stopped out for any period of time, with the exception of those who have an official Leave of Absence (LOA) on record.
