To verify you are logged in, look for your initials or account picture in the top right corner of this page. If you are not logged in, you will see a login icon similar to the image below instead.
The University Wiki Service was migrated from wikis.utexas.edu to cloud.wikis.utexas.edu at the end of May 2024. All page links from wikis.utexas.edu are being redirected to the new site (https://cloud.wikis.utexas.edu) . Please update your bookmarks and any documentation hosted elsewhere, all links within the University Wiki Service were updated during the migration.

New Login Experience
When logging in to Confluence Cloud, please use your IID (Institutional Identifier, example: youreid@eid.utexas.edu) rather than your normal email address.
To avoid this process, please click the button labelled “Click here to log in with your UT EID” near the top of this page. This will avoid using your IID to log in.
To login please click the login button in the top corner of the screen:
You will be prompted to provide your email address, you will need to use your IID (youreid@eid.utexas.edu):
Once you enter your IID, you will be directed to UT Austin's Enterprise Authentication where you will use your EID and Duo to authenticate.
First Time Login
When logging in to Confluence Cloud for the first time you may see a screen that states you need to check your inbox to finish the signup process. Due to the way existing accounts are migrated from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud, you will need to click on the "Resend signup link" button to receive your verification email.
You should receive an email directly after clicking on the resend link. The page will look like this:
Confluence Cloud Welcome Experience
When successfully logging into Confluence Cloud for the first time, after verifying your email address, you will complete the Confluence Cloud welcome experience.
The first screen you will see is the welcome screen where you will be asked to describe what work your team does, you can skip this section.
You will then be asked to find a space that you normally work within. You can choose the space University Wiki Service if you do not have a wiki space you use regularly.
You will see a Welcome to Confluence Cloud Premium page next. This will introduce you to some of the new features within Confluence Cloud. Feel free to dismiss this section if you wish.
Next you may see an introduction to Content Formatting Macros for Confluence. This is a plugin which bundles many useful macros which has been used within the University Wiki Service for many years. Feel free to click No thanks if you wish.
Getting Started
To request a Wiki space for a university-affiliated group, project, or department, please submit the Group, Project, or Departmental Wiki Request Form.
To create a personal wiki space, follow these steps.
We'll get you set up, then send you info on how to log in and add others to your wiki.
