Adobe Premiere Pro - How to Add The RTF Content Warning

 

 

 

 

Download the Essential Graphics template from UT BOX.

Premiere-Content-Warning_CLASS-TEMPLATE.mogrt

Click the link to the right and download the .mogrt file from UT BOX.

.mogrt = Motion Graphics Template

The preview of the file (.mogrt) is not supported by UT BOX and will not be displayed. Simply click on the DOWNLOAD button to save the template to your local machine.

 

To install the Motion Graphics Template:

First, launch Adobe Premiere and start a project. (or open a previously saved project).

Once Premiere is open, go back to the Downloads folder and double click on:

Premiere-Content-Warning_CLASS-TEMPLATE.mogrt

This will install the template and make it available to use in your project.

 

 

 

 

When installing the .mogrt file you will receive this message. This is just a message indicating where the template will be installed. Simply click on OK to continue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once installed it will appear in the Graphics Template bin inside Adobe Premiere.

The template is titled - CONTENT WARNING

 

 

 

If you do not see the Graphics Template window:

Click on Window→ Graphics Templates

 

 

 

Now that the template is installed, drag and drop it onto a new layer in your timeline. Make sure it is on the top level video layer so it appears on all other videos layers.

 

 

Scale and Adjust Position of the graphic

 

The content warning appears on the screen but will need to be moved to the upper left corner of the screen.

 

Click on the layer in the timeline and use the transform tool to adjust the size and position of the Content Warning on the screen.

 

Move the graphic to the upper left corner of the screen.

 

 

 

 

 

You can now use the Title tool to edit the text layer containing the specific warning labels.
