This example shows how to copy the custom desktop to the >Users>Shared Folder

Recommended to use the "Composer" mac mini that was built with

Composer version 10.40.0 on the COMMA11936 computer

NOTES:

Rosetta has to be installed

Restart Composer after you install Rosetta

AND YOU MUST HAVE AVID INSTALLED SO THAT AVID LINK HAS SOMETHING TO ACTIVATE

Open Composer and put in commpower pw and let it get full disk access

Go to Composer > Setting

Set Composer Preferences  to this

Choose >File > New

Click Cancel Here

Compare the AVID link installer to the one Kat made called AVIDLink

Open the package and twirl down all the folders to see what is in in

Example:

Create a modified AVID Link package comparing to all the items that were in the one above that works so we can make sure we have all the same folders in the new one we make

The create a new package by dragging AVID Link from applications to the side of the "Composer App" called Sources

Rename it

Renamed it to AVID Link for Wiki

Then match up the files and folders that were in the AVID link Kat Made to the new one

You can drag the files from the location on the Mac HD to the Package”

Keep adding and subtracting files till they match the package you are trying to emulate but with the new IP applied.

To delete select multiple files and right click and choose Delete

Example of the two matching packages

Original One

New Version with updated IP information that we'll turn into a package

Note that we are only taking Application and Library but matching items in each folder
