Open OBS in Applications | |
Then go to >OBS >Preferences | |
Go to >Output >Recording Set Recording Path to your hard drive or where you want to save your recording

Next Recording Quality set to High Quality unless you want to increase the quality? | |
You can also choose the type of file you want to record but Fragmented MOV is the default
Click OK when done setting the recording properties | |
Then go to Video tab
Set the Resolution to 1920 x 1080

Next click on the
Advanced Audio Properties Icon | |
Set the Audio Monitoring to Master and Output | |
There will always be one Scene | |
But on the Sources tab we need to add sources
Click on the + icon to add a source | |
After hitting + choose Video Capture Device | |
Choose to Create New and choose Video Capture Device
Click OK | |
After you click OK the next screen
Choose the Device Blackmagic Teranex 3D Processor
Preset High | |
Then click the + button again to add the audio source | |
Choose Audio Input Capture | |
Choose Create New and Audio Input Capture
Click OK | |
Choose Device Blackmagic Teranex 3D Processor
Un-Check Enable Downmixing
You want to select the channels that have the correct audio. Some BluRays you have to look for the left right and center channels. Sometime the Center Channel is on channel 4

Try the channels till the right audio comes out the monitoring | |
Here is an example of the audio routing properly you’ll see levels in the Audio Input Capture | |
On the Mic/Aux make sure that is turned down all the way or else it’ll pickup the audio mic on the mac. | |
Now that we have image and sound setup | |
Click on Start Recording | |
Click Stop Recording to stop | |
The recording will go and will titles will be year date and etc. |
