ProTools - How to get an IMovie or Final Cut Pro Project to Protools using Resolve

Open your IMovie Timeline and make sure

timeline has all media connected as shown

Choose Project and
>Sent Event to Final Cut Pro

Open Final Cut Pro

Click on this icon to see the timeline and clips

Click on the My Movie
Project

Choose
>File>Export XML

Choose where to save it

Title the Save As

>General and Current Version

Click Save

Open Davinci Resolve

Choose
>File
>Import
>Timeline

Navigate to the timeline

Choose Open

Keep default settings on this menu



Choose OK

Timeline will come into resolve
