AVID - Media Composer - How to License the 30 day trial

The email from AVID will have you opt in for emails Please click "Yes" below to confirm your email opt-in, and then stick around to set up your email preferences. You must confirm your email address to continue future communications. | |
You will also get a separate email that will have the download links to download the Windows or Mac Versions of the software Choose the one you want to download for your particular Operating System | |
Double click on the downloaded .dmg for mac | |
Double click on the .zip file for windows | |
Mac choose the Install Media Composer | |
Click Agree on all the prompts and Click Continue here Leave the Enterprise Scripts unchecked You will click through the rest of the prompts till you are required to put an admin password in enter your admin password to begin installation. | |
Next is how to activate AVID | |
Open AVID Link - It's in the menu bar in the upper right side of the mac top menu bar | |
These are options that you can choose Just hit Yes and OK or No and Cancel it's up to you | |
You need to sign in Click on the Profile Icon | |
Put in your AVID master account info that you entered in earlier in this wiki when you signed up for your AVID account. | |
Go to >Products>Media Composer | |
Choose Open | |
Choose you want to run in Trial Mode Thats it Media Composer will open. |
