Zoom - Sharing computer sound during screen sharing - Use this for ProTools Zoom Sessions
On Teaching Stations Only Check >System Preferences> | |
Sound>Output set to Crestron HDMI | |
Start or join a Zoom meeting. Then check Zoom.us Preferences | |
Then Audio settings Set Speaker to HDMI (Crestron) Microphone set to USB Audio Device | |
Click on Share Screen on the meeting toolbar. | |
Select the program or desktop you wish to share. Note on the bottom of the share screen choose Share Sound and Optimize for Video Clip | |
Check the Boxes Share Sound and Optimize for Video Clip | |
You will have to put in the Admin Password need to do this only once to install the audio driver for Zoom | |
To check to make sure that the settings are correct in Zoom go to >More>Share Sound>Optimize for Video Clip | |
Then Launch ProTools | |
Before you open a session choose Cancel | |
Choose >Setup>Playback Engine | |
Now choose ZoomAudioDevice Now audio output from ProTools will play out the zoom Session properly. | |
Check the output settings and make sure the ProTools Output is set to Out 1-2 |
