Dynamic Images (PS tricks)
While a process, it is possible to make dynamic images that change based on the different variables displayed in a specific student's problem in TeX and (C & JS). The software used to create these moving items is called PS tricks. We strongly encourage you to build off of a template to get a figure if you want to go this route (alternatively, just upload a static image file <250kb).
This page is a tip of the iceberg primer for PS tricks, with links on where to find more information.
Look for the following signposts in the PS tricks template library:
\pspicture start here. Crops edge of image frames. Anything outside
\endpicture ends the image
Rput rotational puts {degree rotate, optional}
[u] what spot in the word is the point. U=bottom center. t=top. b=bottom
Line * = dot
Psset scaling unit aspect. A bigger number yields a smaller image (column width =250 pts on 2 columns)
Linewidth (x,y)
The lower in the code the command is the more on the surface it is
