The Home Page

Overview

The UT Tracker Home Page is specific to you and is your default screen when you open Tracker. To return to the Home Page from other pages in Tracker, click or tap Home in the menu bar across the top of the screen. (If your screen or window is smaller, the menu bar does not appear; instead you will have a navigation menu in the top right. Click or tap that menu and select Home.) You can also return to the Home Page by clicking or tapping the UT Tracker icon in the top left of the screen.

The menu bar (or, in a smaller window, the navigation menu in the top right of the screen) lets you navigate to the other sections of Tracker:

  • The Create Menu

  • The Submittals Menu

  • The Billing Menu

  • The Search Menu

  • The Admin Page

  • The FAQs Page

Each of these sections is described on its own page in this guide.

Functional Tools

In the center of the screen in the Home Page are tools for selecting key processes. The functions available to you in the Dashboard depend on your role in Tracker.

  • All users see a short description of UT Tracker.

  • If you are an Admin Supervisor, you get a panel with buttons to Manage Users, Manage Super Customers, and Manage Billing Users. These functions allow you to manage roles and permissions for users in your division. You also get the dashboard Unassigned Submittals with submissions to be assigned to Processors.

  • If you are a Supervisor, you get the dashboard Unassigned Submittals with submissions to be assigned to Processors or other Supervisors for payment.

  • If you are a Processor, you get the dashboard Invoices Assigned To Me with submissions that have been assigned to you for processing by your Admin Supervisor or Supervisor. If you are assigned both Processor and Supervisor roles, your dashboard will revert to Invoices Assigned to Me. The Unassigned Submittals dashboard will appear under on the Submittals Menu.

  • If you are a Super Customer, you get the dashboard My Department Invoices with the invoices for all the departments you support, and the dashboard My Submitted Invoices with users’ submissions.

  • If you are a Customer, you get the dashboard My Department Invoices with the invoices for your PID department, and the dashboard My Submitted Invoices with your submissions.

All users have a Home page connected to one of the invoicing roles described above.
