EDP Course Scheduling works within University standard timelines, allows for advance scheduling for budget and instructional staffing purposes, and provides a consistent and predictable system to organize classes for advisers and students in EDP, COE, and outside the college.

Standard Timelines are the unit by which the Registrar assigns rooms; deviation from standard reduces rooms available to EDP and causes conflicts for students. The EDP Standard Timelines below are based on University Standard Timelines; EDP courses must adhere to EDP Standard Timelines, and should attempt to adhere to University Standard when possible as well.

Department Foundation Course Blocks
- Department Foundation Courses (formerly "Department Core") are courses offered by HDCLS and QM that are required for EDP students in all areas.
- Colloquiums should be M or W 12-1
- No classes Friday afternoons due to department meetings.
Department Foundation Course Time Blocks are below. 1st and occasionally 2nd-year program courses are scheduled outside the occupied Foundation blocks, to allow 1st-year students to complete Dept Foundation requirements. Advanced courses may be scheduled during Foundation course blocks. | ||||
