Second Prototype:

The second prototype was the intended final prototype, however the mechanical function of the mechanism did not give the desired outputs. Therefore the final design what changed.

What didn't work:

• Design called for a link to be attached to the thumb to connect to the lower slider 
• Thumb link did not follow the thumb movement well
• Minimal movement of slider link with maximum thumb movement, not allowing the mechanism to be fully opened
• Mechanism design would also to be changed if to be placed on another hand since it was only designed to be pulled
