Do we design for competing in ASC?
Should we decide on this now, or wait to see some technical progress
Consider later, next time budget is due in 2025
Technical differences: ASC is more robust, need to be more road legal (waterproofing, tire changes)
Car would need to be water proof (specifically aeroshell) in order to compete in ASC, not qualify
Designing for ASC just makes the car more robust, would help us do better at fsgp
Design for ASC:
Pros: Car more robust, Higher team standard,
Cons: More expensive, Take more time
Decision: We will design to compete in ASC
Dynamics needs to sim for higher forces
Aeroshell needs to be waterproof
Ergo needs to avoid driver fatigue
Efficiency, Manufacturability, Reliability
Three main goals, things that do not pertain to these should not be prioritized
