Mail usually arrives between 10:30 and 11:30 am
1) Along with standard opening procedures make sure mail is ready to go. This included CDs and DVDs which must be placed in a padded envelope with the corresponding transit slip taped to the front of the envelope. CD/DVD packages need to be put at the top of the bin so they don’t get squished. All outgoing bins and any boxes need to be properly labeled. The strap must be fastened and tightened. If there are more than 2 extra grey bins sitting by the mail truck, send them out too.
2) When the mail is received flip the address label from ARG to PCG.
3) Steps for unloading mail. Correctly route each type of item to the right place or person.
