Getting Help From the Human Resource Service Center (HRSC)

- Qualtrics is a generalized survey service permitting the creation of survey instruments, distribution of the surveys, data storage and analysis. Qualtrics is available for use by faculty, staff, and students and is approved for most Confidential data (including HIPAA, FERPA, and IRB).
- UT Box
- Box cloud storage is a campus-wide service that allows faculty, staff, and students at the University of Texas at Austin to use Box cloud-based file sharing for business and academic purposes. UT Box is approved for most Confidential data and is available at no cost to current faculty, staff, and students.
- Stache
- The University of Texas at Austin Information Security Office created STACHE to provide secure backup of sensitive data, such as encryption keys, passwords, passphrases, and personal identification numbers. The creator of the entry in Stache can share the contents of the entry with other individuals. Stache is available at no cost to active students, faculty and staff affiliated with the University of Texas at Austin.

- Staff Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) - Formerly the Staff Educational Benefit. Covers tuition for full-time (40 hour) employees with 12 months’ continuous service for one UT Austin course per semester. To take advantage of the benefit, employees must be regularly admitted to the University. Waivers of admissions fees may be available. Please note that Graduate courses are considered taxable income.
