Budget

WE ARE CLOSE TO BEING DONE WITH THE BUDGET!!!

• Big things just add details to each item of y’alls subsystem

  • I’ve added the items for most of the Unsprung and Steering

• Kayla – finish up suspension and add notes

• For things we don’t need need this semester put a lower priority on it. Like stock we will need so it can be set to 5 but do we really need shocks or things this semester or could it be put on next year’s budget? Things like that

• Workday tomorrow should give us a better idea of what we need from SRR

• I’m gonna be honest I’m still a little confused about SRR and things related to that

• Questions to ask for recruiting:

  • L1 Fun Questions:

    • Picture of a croc and ask them how many holes there are in a croc

    • How many holes are in a shirt?

    • Are there more wheels or doors in the world?

    • Kayla is going to ask a flat earth ice wall question which makes no sense

    • If a monkey could turn into a human what could turn into a mermaid?

    • Favorite type of monkey?

  • L2 General Questions:

    • When is a time you faced a conflict and how did you resolve it?

    • What other orgs or time commitments would you be a part of along with LHR?

    • Why do you want to join Solar?

    • For FRC people grill them on what they did in it?

  • L3 Technical Questions:

    • Give them a part and ask them to explain to you what it is

    • Ask them to explain their portfolio

    • Show them a diagram and ask them the forces acting on the part (tires, uprights)

    • Show them the dynamics assembly and ask them to ask us questions about it

Week Plan

• Start populating and adding information to the 101 documents. The learnings you are doing on say bearing selection for unspurng or how to do hardpoints can be used for both your knowledge for SRR and the 101 documents. Plus you can add stuff more complex now and work backwards later to add the more simple things.
