Make an account with DellMed REDCap: https://redcap.dellmed.utexas.edu/.
Ask your trainer to add you to the REDCap projects.
In your project, create a new instrument. Name it “[INSERT NAME] REDCap URA Training Survey.
Practice Survey Directions:
create 3 survey questions, with 3 different field types and embed in a table (descriptive text field)
customize the table with cell colors
make a hidden question
create 2 questions with numeric answer choices; then, create a sum field
make a date/time question and set the highest value option as "TODAY"
separate sections with "Begin New Section" fields
after steps 1-4, go to the survey settings:
change the name of the survey to be different than the instrument name
make responses editable
make font size large
assign this form to event 1, create the survey link, then fill out your form under record ID 0
lastly, download the zip file of your instrument and upload to Box in your lab notebook
Do your best to complete this independently. Consult Google and YouTube to learn how to do different things. The purpose of this training task is to get to know and understand REDCap, not to check off all of the items listed. Do complete the items, but also use them as a guide to learning how to do different functions in REDCap. Send updates on your progress to your trainer and ask any questions that you have not been able to resolve in a timely manner.
