If you are installing or reinstalling the IGRINS ICC at McDonald Observatory, these are the instructions on how to set up the ICC and network settings
-Hookup power
-Hook up Keyboard and mouse USB
-(If in control room) Hook up network cable to swtich107-5-1
-Log in as IGRINS
-Open System Preferences
-Select Network
-On left make sure Etherent 2 (McD WAN) is on.
There will be a manually set IP addresss + other things to:
IP Address: 198.214.229.87
Subnet mask: 255.255..255.0
Router: 198.214.299.1
DNS Server (advanced): 8.8.8.8
-Etherent goes to the internal network computers (e.g. DCC computers) should be set to
IP Address: 198.168.2.2 [THIS IS IMPORTANT TO TALK LOCALLY]
Subnet mask: 255.255..255.0
Router: (blank)
