Download the following script | DCP Subtitle Generator.zip |
Unzip the script and launch it | |
Manually enter the path and filename of your srt subtitle file or Click browse to open a finder window and select your file
Enter the name of the film the subtitles belong to
Enter the language of the subtitles
Font defaults to Liberation Sans Regular You may change this if you like or leave it blank for default (For different fontstyle) Manually enter the path and filename of the ttf file or click browse and select it
Color of the font defaults to white You may change this if you like or leave blank for default Support colors are "White", "Yellow", "Black"
Size of the font defaults to 40 You may change this if you like or leave blank for default
Position of the subtitles defaults to 9 (bottom of the screen) You may change this if you like or leave it blank for default
Separation of multiple subtitle lines defaults to 5.5 This means that line 1 will be at 14.5 and line 2 is at 9. You can change this if you want or leave it blank for default | |
Once you are done entering your information, click Enter | |
The screen will update with your newly generated subtitle ID
Go to your Users folder (Ex. /Users/jmh6837)
Look for a new folder named after the ID displayed on the window (Ex. ay7kkdfv-cjuv-j7yv-ag8v-wm221pyfqftd)
Inside, you will find a "subtitle.xml" file and a copy of the ttf file used for the font. | |
