If you intend to complete your doctoral degree this SUMMER 2019 semester, you must apply to graduate through the Graduate School online application during the application period:
JUNE 10 to AUGUST 2, 2019.
You must be registered for C E x99W – DISSERTATION (3, 6, or 9 hours).

The Summer application period will begin June 10 and closes August 2. Graduating student MUST submit their graduation application online no later than August 2nd. Students who do not submit a Doctoral Degree Candidate Form by this date will not be eligible to receive their degree in the Summer/August.

IMPORTANT!: Request for Final Oral must be submitted to the Graduate School at least 2 weeks in advance of the defense. Request for Final Oral (typed form): https://gradschool.utexas.edu/academics/theses-and-dissertations/doctoral-candidacy/oral-examinations. NEW! Beginning Spring 2019, the final oral exam request form does NOT need to be on prink paper.
All required forms and paperwork MUST be submitted to the Graduate School by Friday, August 16, 2019 BEFORE 3 p.m. for SUMMER 2019 graduation.
