If you intend to complete your doctoral degree this Summer 2020 semester, you must apply to graduate through the Graduate School online application during the application period:
June 15, 2020 - July 31, 2020
You must be registered for C E x99W – DISSERTATION (3, 6, or 9 hours).

The Summer application period will begin June 15 and closes July 31. Graduating student MUST submit their graduation application online no later than July 31. Students who do not submit a Doctoral Degree Candidate Form by this date will not be eligible to receive their degree in Fall/December.
IMPORTANT!: Request for Final Oral must be submitted to the Graduate School at least 2 weeks in advance of the defense. Request for Final Oral (typed form): https://gradschool.utexas.edu/academics/theses-and-dissertations/doctoral-candidacy/oral-examinations.
All required forms and paperwork MUST be submitted to the Graduate School by August 14, 2020 BEFORE 3 p.m. for Summer 2020 graduation.
