Windows 7

  • Click on the Windows Globe
  • Right click on My Computer
  • Select Properties
  • Look under the heading Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings
  • The name is listed right next to Computer name

Windows 8

  • select the "Start" button
  • Type "This PC"
  • Right-click on "This PC" > Properties
  • Look under "Computer Name"
  • No labels
