The "Wild Wild West" Karakuri model takes rotary motion input and makes a train move in circles around a track. The mechanism has two gears (as shown below) with a gear ratio of 0.5.
I decided to make the output motion of the train more interesting by combining the "Wild Wild West" mechanism with a linkage mechanism. The goal was to be able to provide a constant
velocity input and observe a varying velocity output of the train.
