Summary:
The goal of this project is to create a mechanism that shake a cat toy in a planned abstract path. The first challenge of this project is the path itself. A mouse toy that simply shakes back-and-forth or hops up-and-down will not hold a cats attention. In order to achieve this, we built a crank-rocker system with a cam added that will create large arcs and bumps.
