Background

Solo sailing is a competitive sport where sailors race whilst under the power of wind and muscle alone. A sailor must be able to actively grab and adjust rope to alter the positions of his sail at any given time. However, with limited grip strength and flexibility, grabbing and releasing rope constantly and frequently can prove difficult and tiresome.
