If this is the first time you are using Outlook, just launch it to begin the profile setup wizard. Otherwise, open the Mail (32-bit) control panel. Click Show Profiles and then click Add in the next window and give your profile a name when prompted. The profile name doesn't matter. We recommend you just entire your name.The profile setup wizard will launch after this.
- At the Auto Account Setup window enter your email address. Make sure you enter your email address and not your username. If you are using a computer that is not in the McCombs domain, you will also be prompted to enter your McCombs logon password. Click Next.
- You will then see a Configuring window that will show you the progress of your profile setup. Each step will receive a green check mark as it successfully completes. The process may take a few minutes.
- At some point you will be prompted to enter your user name and password. Enter your username in the format username@mccombs.utexas.edu, and be sure to check the box Remember my credentials before clicking OK. If you are prompted to allow
