Chair and Director Review
Chairs and directors typically have set terms of service in their roles. Officially-designated unit heads require approval as part of their initial appointment as chair or director and also require review and approvals if wanting to renew their appointment.
Whenever there is a change in unit head or when a unit head is renewing, there are a variety of administrative tasks needing handled within the unit, within the dean's office, and elsewhere on campus, at times. Please see Unit Head Transitions for more information.
