Locking and Unlocking Push Bar Doors

UNLOCKING

1. The double doors will look like the picture below when locked. The bar will be pushed out, and the lock will be pointed up on the right door and down on the left door. This picture shows the right door in the locked position.

2. To unlock the doors, push on the bar like you would to open the door and hold it in this position. Twist the lock on the side so that it points in the opposite position it was in (if it was pointing down when it was locked, it will be pointing up when it is unlocked).
3. Let go of the bar once the lock is turned; it should stay in the pushed in position on it's own once unlocked.

LOCKING

1. The double doors will look like the picture below when unlocked. The bar will be pushed all the way in.

2. To lock the door, simply turn the lock back to it's original position, opposite again of the position it was in when unlocked. The push bar should automatically pop out as the lock is turned.

3. Locked doors still allow you to exit from within, but will lock behind you once the door shuts.
