Step-by-Step Instructions for Vendor Application
- Have these documents ready in PDF:
- Permit to Operate a Food Enterprise
- Austin Area: http://austintexas.gov/department/fixed-food-establishments
- Outside of Austin: https://dshs.texas.gov/foodestablishments/permitting.aspx
- Certificate of Liability Insurance
- TABC License, if applicable
- Guidelines for handling food.
- Permit to Operate a Food Enterprise
- Know your UT EID.
- Go to the "Application" section.
- Click on the link to the DocuSign Application.
- Complete the DocuSign form.
- Once you click "Continue", you will see this notification:
- Complete the DocuSign form.
- DocuSign will send an email to the email address you provided. You may exit out of that page.
- Go to your inbox. You will complete the application via the email sent from DocuSign.
- Complete the application.
- Sign the Agreement.
- Attach the following required documents:
- Permit to Operate a Food Enterprise
- Certificate of Liability Insurance
- TABC license, if applicable
- Guidelines for handling food
- Download a copy for your records.
- Once you click "Finish", wait for our office to verify the documents. The Approval Process takes about three to five business days.
- You will receive a notification from our office.
- Please restart the application process and make the necessary corrections.
- Feel free to contact our office regarding any questions.
- If approved:
- Please understand that this is not an endorsement of any kind by the University of Texas Austin.
- You will have to reapply again in one year.
