CSU

College, school, or unit. Generically, administrative entities in a university.

DEFINE

A application that lets users interact with UT’s mainframe to access accounting information and perform certain accounting asks.

Department

The smaller administrative subunits that comprise Divisions in Tracker.

Division

The basic administrative unit in Tracker. Divisons are divided into Departments.

FAMIS

Financial Accounting Management Information System. An app used for billing.

Onboarding

The process of integrating a CSU and its employees into Tracker for the first time.

Highest Percentage Position ID (PID)

A unique alphanumeric ID consisting of six characters, generated by Tracker when a user is enrolled in the system, and based on the department paying the highest percentage of that user’s salary, along with the percent of a 40-hour work week worked in an assignment.
