The University of Texas makes several software available to students and staff at no or reduced charge.
The Cockrell School of Engineering ITG group makes software such as National Instruments Labview and MultiSim, Mathematica available at: Software
Azure for Education can also grant access to Microsoft platforms, servers, and software developer tools for students, faculty and staff.
The University of Texas and Mathworks have recently expanded access to the license for Matlab to students (previously only available from the Campus Computer Store)
- To install Matlab go to https://mathworks.com and sign up for an account using your @utexas.edu email account.
- BME also licenses Comsol and Solidworks for teaching applications only. Contact it-bme@utexas.edu for specific requirements.
