If you want to take your classroom on a field trip, here are some simple steps to follow for an easy field trip! Here is Child Care Licensing's information on ratios and what to bring.

Step-by-step guide

Give Adriana as much notice as possible, ideally 2 weeks.
Verify it is a good date for your class to leave.
1. If there is a re-schedule, you need to start over at step 1.
2. Verify that you will meet ratios for the field trip.
Notify families of the field trip in your weekly email.
Get permission (template).
During the field trip:
1. Bring:
  1. Medical consent forms (in backpack)
  2. Emergency contact info for all children (in backpack)
  3. First aid kit (in backpack)
  4. All allergy plans, forms, and medication (in backpack)
  5. Nametag with PPFCFL and contact info on it (in backpack)
  6. Track attendance on your field trip (template)
