4. Manufacturing and Assembly - ES
All of the pieces in this assembly were manufactured using a laser cutter, with the exception of the bearings, bolts, nuts, and pins. The mechanism was modelled on SolidWorks to ensure that all the pieces would fit together after manufacturing. I was reluctant to laser cutting pieces without assembling them first because I wanted to avoid wasting material. The length of each link is shown in the table below. In addition, the SolidWorks assembly is also provided.
