SLC t-shirt Guidelines
We encourage you to wear your SLC shirt when appropriate to represent our office and institution. As a representative, please be mindful of how parents, students, your supervisor, etc., would perceive or misperceive your actions. An employee representing an office or institution is not afforded the same liberty as an individual. For instance, you should NOT wear your shirt to:
- Political rallies, demonstrations, fundraisers, or any other activity supporting or opposing a candidate, policy, or initiative.
- Engage in activities where your judgment may be impaired (for instance, consuming drugs or alcohol).
- Engage in any activities of a questionable legal or moral nature.
If you find yourself out in the world and one of the above situations develops around you, please relocate or change your attire regardless of your participation in the event.
