AILLA Demonstrations
Once a depositor has established a collection at AILLA, they may wish to do a demonstration for other members of their community or team. The following is a basic outline of tasks that they will want to demonstrate either as a workshop, in a demo video, in small groups, or one-on-one.
IMPORTANT: If the depositor has an elevated AILLA account (used for self-deposit privileges), then they should either set up a regular user account to use for the demo or ask AILLA staff to downgrade their account to that of a regular AILLA user (temporarily). This way, the demo experience will reflect the experience of a regular registered AILLA user account.

- How to create a user account
- Ideally this should be done before the demo if possible. AILLA personnel have to manually approve all account requests, so it can take several hours to several days for an account request to be approved, depending on when the request comes in.
- Alternatively, you can let AILLA know about your workshop/demo ahead of time so we can plan to be prepared to approve account requests during that time.
- Once an account request is approved, the account requester will get an email directing them to follow a link to finish setting up their account. They must follow the link in the email to set up their password and log in.
- After creating a password, they must log out and then log in again before they can access any files.

Specifics of your collection
- How to navigate to your collection from the Main Collections page
- How to navigate to specific folders and files in your collection
- If any files in your collection are restricted, show
- specific examples of the different levels
- how to unlock a file using the "Unlock object" box and the password that you established
- If they will be approving access requests for Level 4 files:
- Show them what Level 4 looks like for a specific file
- Explain that they might receive emails from people requesting access. and that they need respond to those emails.
