Subject Language
MODS Element: Language
Element Definition | A designation of the language in which the content of a resource is expressed. |
AILLA Definition | A designation of the language that is the focus of the research. The resource doesn't have to be IN that indigenous language, but it has to be ABOUT that language; e.g. a dissertation that is written in English about the phonology of an indigenous language. There will be lots of examples in that indigenous language, but the book is written in English. |
