Camera Sanitization
Safety Guidelines:
Recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) such as protective face masks and disposable gloves should be worn at all times while cleaning/sanitizing equipment.
Ensure adequate ventilation prior to beginning any of the procedures.
Hand washing with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds is recommended before and after PPE is worn.
Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol can be used if soap and water are not available.
All work surfaces should be cleaned and sanitized before you begin and after you are finished with all items.
Clean work surface(s) with 75% isopropyl alcohol wipe.

Remove battery and memory card(s) from camera.

DO NOT wipe image sensor (behind back of lens cap inside camera body). | |
Clean camera with 75% isopropyl alcohol wipe.
Oversaturated wipes should be squeezed out BEFORE wiping camera components.

Wipe power supply cables and any other high touch items included with camera kit.

DO NOT wipe coated lens surfaces on the front and back of the lens. | |
Clean lens with 75% isopropyl alcohol wipe.
