Here are some short video orientations to the Box mobile interface.  Below are instructions on setting up your mobile access for the first time.

Accessing UTBox on mobile devices

To access your enterprise Box files and folders from a mobile device, your best option is to install and use the Box app for your device.  You will be required to create a 4-digit passcode.

With this passcode, you never need to log out when you close the Box app.  Anytime you reopen the app, you’ll only need to enter the passcode instead of going through the multistep login procedure every time.

How to use UTBox on an iPhone or iPad

1. Install the Box application from iTunes and open the app.
2. Choose Use Company Credentials.
3. Enter your email address in the form of YourEID@eid.utexas.edu
4. Click Log In.
5. Enter your UT EID and related password on the following screen.
6. You will be required to create a 4-digit passcode, then enter it again.
7. The Box app will display your files.

How to use UTBox on an Android Device

1. Install the Android Box app and open the app.
2. Select the Log In tab.
3. Enter your email address in the form of YourEID@eid.utexas.edu
4. Click Log In.
5. Enter your UT EID and related password on the following screen.
6. You will be required to create a 4-digit passcode, then enter it again.
7. The Box app will display your files.

How to use UTBox with a mobile browser

1. Open your web browser and go to box.com, selecting to go to the mobile site, if prompted.
2. Click Log In.
3. Enter your email address in the form of yourEID@eid.utexas.edu but leave the password field empty.
4. Click Log In.
5. Enter your UT EID and related password on the following screen.
6. The Box app will display your files.
7. Click Log Out in the lower right corner when finished and close browser/page.
