Mural.co
A great way to whiteboard ideas without meeting in-person. You can create sticky notes, sketch, and group ideas all on a shared space (think Google Docs but with sticky notes). Extremely useful for separating user stories into a feasibility matrix and if you and your client cannot meet face-to-face. There is a 30-day free trial as well as education pricing that will give you full access for free after you prove you're a student (https://mural.co/education)

Google Hangouts
If you cannot meet face-to-face with your client, we suggest creating events on Google calendars. Creating events will allow you to set uniform times as well as creating a “Hangout” link that will allow everyone to conference call in (creating events also emails everyone the event link). Google Hangouts allow participants to share their screen and is ran all on the browser, so no need to download extra software. Another plus with Google Hangouts is that the creator of the event can change the time/date of the event and it will automatically update everyone else’s calendar as well.
Zoom
If unable to meeting with team or client face-to-face, Zoom offers free video meetings. Can be browser-based or can call-in, no need to download software. Can schedule meetings through calendar apps.
- Unlimited group meetings
- Screen sharing, recording, chat features
- Free plan offers 40-minute meetings
