Introduction
- Nguyen, Tiffani
The University of Texas at Austin is spearheading a new initiative to help streamline the procure-to-pay process for staffing services.
In alignment with FAS Strategic values, the Procurement, Business Contracts and Payment Services Offices are spearheading a new service to help streamline the procure-to-pay process for staffing services.
This collaborative effort had one goal in mind --to simplify the process for your team when you request staffing services.
Our university has entered into non-exclusive contracts with fifteen (15) temporary staffing firms. These suppliers will provide temporary event staffing services for such roles as Event Staff, Event Security, Premium Service Attendants, Housekeeping Staff, Heavy Hands, and Commissioned Police Officers. Colleges, schools, and units (CSUs) can contract for personnel on an hourly basis for as many (or a minimum of four) hours needed for an event.
CSUs can request personnel from any temporary staffing firm that is best suited for the event. The contract can also be used for temporary staffing for non-event related services on an as needed basis.
What does this mean for you?
FASTER SERVICE
